The purpose of the I.A.A. shall be to foster an appreciation for the Iowa tree community, to increase interest in planting and caring for shade and ornamental trees, to promote the science and practice of professional arboriculture and to encourage public education.

Most books can be borrowed from the IAA. A deposit of $20.00, in the form of a check, is required for obtaining IAA reference materials. The check will be torn up upon the return of the reference materials. A fee of $6.00 is required in addition to the deposit to cover postage and handling. If postage and handling cost are less than $6.00, the difference will be given to the Treasurer for deposit. Items that are loaned out are to be returned within 4 weeks, or else the deposit is forfeited to the IAA. No more than three items can be checked out at one time. |
